My Previous Bikes
My first bike was a Honda MBX50 I still have it I rebuilt the complete bike.
While I was re-building the MBX I bought a Kawasaki AR50 to ride around on .
I `am a bit big for a 50cc but found a bargain a Suzuki RG250 Power Valve model for R3500
It had just had a Top end overhaul done by the mechanic I bought my VFR from.
The only thing wrong with it was that the power Valve motor didn't work. but it was still quick compared to a 50cc. I rode the bike around for a while and it started giving sparking problems do I replaced the spark plug leads, the bike spent more time on the workbench than on the road.
I was riding home late at night during December and was doing 160KM/H (that's the fastest she goes) and I heard a Bang and then the back wheel locked up so I pulled in the clutch and stopped it , put it back into neutral and tried to kick start the bike and there was no movement inside of the engine so I pushed the bike home about 500m to go and put her in the garage. The next day I whipped off the tank and pulled the spark plugs out and put a cap full of 2 stroke oil into each cylinder (its a tandem twin). I left it for a while and gave the bike a kick and she started I left it to idle and it made a big bang and locked up again . I got so fucking pissed of with this piece of shit Suzuki that I started to strip the whole bike, took the motor out and took it Johnny the mechanic and get it checked out , seems that it threw a big end bearing and a peice of it shot up into the piston and stuffed the piston and barrel up. So I cleaned everything up on the bike (the previous owner did not look after the bike) and polished the frame and sprayed the handle bard and the rims and put it back together. Had the rear shock serviced. There was R4000 damage to the engine. So I saved up for about a month sold a few things borrowed some money from my father and the RG250 for R1500 with the stuffed engine and and bought my VFR400Z my best buy ever.
